Records Storage Fees

  • Services available include empty boxes for purchase, picking up records, storage of records, access to records, and also destruction of records
  • Records are housed in a climate-controlled storage facility

Monthly Storage Fees for 25¢:

  • Monthly storage per box
  • Monthly storage per ¼” or 50 sheets of microfiche
  • Monthly storage per 16mm microfilm reel
  • Monthly storage per block of X-rays (approximately 200 per block)

Supplies for Storage Starting at $2.50:

  • Standard box (15” x 12” x 10”) for letter/legal size records – $2.50
  • Small box (10” x 24” x 4”) – $2.50
  • X-ray box – $6.50
  • Archival box (15” x 12” x 10”) – $8.00

Standard Round Trip Pick-up/Delivery Starting at $5.00:

  • Within a 10 mile radius – $5.00
  • Within a 20 mile radius – $10.00
  • Further than 20 mile radius – $15.00

New Accession One-time Processing Fee Starting at $1.00:

  • New microfilm accession per roll – $1.00
  • New X-ray accession location or bin – $2.00
  • New box accession per box – $3.00

Accessing Documents in Storage Ranging from 25¢ – $5.00:

  • Retrieval for file/box/X-ray/microfilm – $1.50
  • Rush retrieval for file/box/X-ray/microfilm – $5.00
  • Attempted Retrieval (search in boxes or files using incorrect location information supplied by the customer) – $2.00
  • Interfiling files/X-rays/microfiche – $2.00
  • Facsimile or photocopy service per page – 25¢
  • Returns – $1.00

Destruction of Documents Starting at $2.00*:

*Records destroyed by outside vendor will be charged back to departments at actual cost along with a trip charge if required.

  • Destruction of records center storage boxes per box – $2.00*
  • Destruction of microfilm (per roll) or microfiche (1/4”) – $2.00*
  • Destruction of departmental confidential material per box – $2.50*
  • Destruction of X-ray film (approximately 200 x-rays per block) – $2.50*
